A Helping Hand: Upgrade Settlements by completing Settlement missions to unlock even more missions and projects, and even find new recruits to join you at your Base of Operations.to discover new missions, and other activities. Hubs, Hubs, All Around: Visit civilian Settlements around D.C.Equip Your Skills: Once you've unlocked new Skills, (such as the Drone, Seeker Mine, or Shield) don't forget to equip them in the Skills section towards the bottom of your Inventory, so they'll be ready to go when you need them.Head out and gather supplies, equipment, and experience, then head home and use what you've learned to expand your abilities even further! The Quartermaster: To unlock Skills, Skill Mods, and Perks, you'll need to visit the Quartermaster at your Base of Operations.Want to remove in-game hints, damage numbers, cover indicators, or even the minimap? Head to the Gameplay section of the Settings menu!
Increasing Immersion: There are a wide variety of options to alter immersion.Imperial VS Metric: You can switch between measurement units (meters vs feet) used in-game in the Gameplay section of Settings.Experiment and see what works best for you! Tweaking Your HUD: You can customize the positioning and size of a number of HUD elements in the Settings menu under UI.Moving Around Corners: You can also enable button presses to allow movement around corners while in cover in Controls Settings.PARKOUR: The Controls tab in Settings allows you to enable autolook centering, automatic parkour mode during Auto Run, and determine whether movement can exit cover.
Focus: In the Settings menu, you can enhance the immersion by having all in-game sounds muted when the game is not in focus.Always Know Who's Talking: You can also modify subtitle size, and determine whether subtitles will indicate the speaker, to make sure you always know exactly what is going on.Subs Not Dubs: The Division 2 contains several subtitle mode options, including subs for scripted dialogue, dialogue and combat barks, and an option for comprehensive captions.Large Fonts: You can also enable Large Fonts if you find it easier to read, have an especially big TV, or need to sit far away from the screen.Menu Narration: You can enable Menu Narration during setup if you have trouble reading game text.
